The Garden Room sits within the estate grounds with direct access to the kitchen garden and the kind of quiet that only comes from being surrounded by things that grow without urgency. The deep soaking tub, the private veranda, the soft sound of the garden in the early morning. Nothing here is accidental and nothing is rushed.
It is the most grounded room at Caldwell in every sense. Guests who book the Garden Room tend to spend more time on the veranda than anywhere else on the estate. That is entirely by design.
What awaits you and what to know before you arrive
Check-in begins at three in the afternoon, with early arrivals arranged whenever possible, and check-out is by eleven in the morning with late check-out available subject to availability.
Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room or on your private terrace on request.
Private transfers from Hewanorra International Airport take approximately 45 minutes and can be arranged at the time of booking.
Any dietary requirements or special preferences noted at the time of reservation will be taken care of by the Caldwell team.
