The Canopy Suite sits higher than anything else on the estate. The trees stretch out below the terrace and the ocean appears beyond them in the distance. Floor to ceiling windows bring the outside in without disturbing the quiet. The freestanding bath, the elevated terrace, the particular quality of a morning spent above it all. This is the most private room at Caldwell and the one guests find hardest to leave.
There is something about being above the treeline that changes the quality of stillness. Guests who have stayed in the Canopy Suite describe it as the closest thing to complete removal from the world they have found without actually going anywhere.
What awaits you and what to know before you arrive
Check-in begins at three in the afternoon, with early arrivals arranged whenever possible, and check-out is by eleven in the morning with late check-out available subject to availability.
Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room or on your private terrace on request.
Private transfers from Hewanorra International Airport take approximately 45 minutes and can be arranged at the time of booking.
Any dietary requirements or special preferences noted at the time of reservation will be taken care of by the Caldwell team.
